Olivia Cate - 5 Months!

Olivia,

On January 14 you turned 5 months old! Once again, another month has flown by! They seem to get faster each month.

You have been so much fun this month. Here's what you have been up to:

• You are wearing 6 months clothes and a few 9 months things. You are so long so some of the 6 months are too short.  
• You rolled over this month! You don't do it a lot but you definitely know how. You haven't figure out how to roll from your back to your stomach yet, but I think it will be soon. 
• You started daycare this month. This has been a very hard adjustment for your momma and daddy. You are doing well but you are much more advanced than other kids in your class so we think you get bored. We can't get there fast enough to pick you up at the end of the day! 
• You are eating Similac Advantage formula and eating 5 oz every 3 hours. 
• You are a happy girl. You rarely cry and if you do it is because you are very sleepy (or want to be held!!)

• You love to grab your feet and put them in your mouth.  
• You are a wiggle worm. You don't like to be still and are constantly moving! 
• You smile all of the time! You have started laughing and it is so cute! You make us work hard to get a laugh but will give us smiles all day long. 
• Your eyes are still blue. 
• You still love your exersaucer. You like to play in it in the mornings before school. 
• You are still wearing a size 2 diaper.

• You went to the doctor this month for your first sick visit. Luckily it was just a cold. 
• You weighed 16 pounds 4 oz. 
• You are very long and skinny! 
• You went to church for the first time this month! We have been going regularly and you do so well! Everyone loves to see you and talks about how pretty you are. 
• You took your first road trip to SC for Christmas! You did great in the car. 
• You are such a happy baby! You are usually smiling. 
• You love to play! You will reach for anything you can get your little hands on. 
• You put everything in your mouth! You drool so much we have to keep a bib on you.

I think we say it every month but this has been the best one yet! Your little personality is really starting to come out and you make us laugh so much! You are the sweetest baby and very laid back. You are so smart and really excel in everything that you do. We are so very proud of you and cannot imagine our lives without you. You bring so much joy to our family and we love you more than you will ever know sweet girl!
