Olivia Cate, 8 Months!

Olivia,

On April 14th, you turned 8 months old! You have changed so much this month and done so many new and fun things!

These are some things that you have been up to:

• You started crawling! You have the cutest crawl and it looks like a little crab! You have gotten very fast.
• We bought you a real high chair and you love to sit in it and eat. 
• You are practicing with a sippy cup and like chewing on it more than drinking from it! 

• You stayed in the nursery at church for the first time and did great.
• You started pulling up in your crib so we had to lower your mattress. That hasn't stopped you from standing in your crib! 
• You love Bella and she makes you laugh!

• You continue to be a great eater. You have eaten squash, cauliflower, apples, pears, broccoli, sweet potatoes, avocados and bananas. You are not a fan of bananas and make a funny face when you try them! 
• We are still making your food at home and it is going well.
• You are wearing mostly 9 month clothes and some 12 month things. You are pretty skinny so you can still wear some 6 month pants. you are tall so 12 month onesies fit you well but 12 month pants/shorts fall off of you. 

                                      

• We took you to the doctor a few weeks ago and you were 17 lbs 11 oz. We go back in a few weeks for your 9 month check up and I can't wait to see how much you have grown! 
• You finally moved up to a size 3 diaper. They are still a little big on you so I think you will be in them for a while. 
• You still eat 5 bottles a day and always get excited when you see your bottle. I am afraid we will have a hard time getting you off the bottle.
• You are still a good sleeper.
• You don't have any teeth yet but we think you will get some soon.

• You are so busy now and don't like to be still! 
• You moved up to a new class at daycare and have adjusted well. You love your teachers Ms. Tina, Ms. Ally and Ms. Tamira.
• Your Mimi came to visit you this month and you had so much fun with her! 

Olivia,

You continue to bring so much joy to our lives. You are the sweetest baby and have such an easy going personality. You are growing and changing so fast and although it is hard to see time passing by so quickly, it is so fun to watch you learn new things. Your daddy and I adore you and think you are the best baby in the world. We can hardly remember what life was like before you and thank God for you every day. We love you Tootie Bug, more than you will ever know.
