Olivia Cate.. 9 months!

Olivia,

On May 14th, you were 9 months old! What a fun month this has been! Your personality has really started coming out and your are so much fun. We love you so much sweet girl! These are just a few of the things that you have been up to...

• At your 9 month appointment you weighed 19 pounds (50th percentile) and were 29.5 inches (97th percentile). You are long and lean sweet girl! 
• You are a really good eater. There isn't much that you don't like but you sure know how to let us know when you are finished. You stick your tongue out and spit a little bit. It is really cute! 
• You got the ok to start to transition to whole milk but so far you are not a big fan. We have tried it in your sippy cup and bottle but you still love your formula. 

•  You had your first two teeth pop through this month! Its the front two on the bottom. They are not all of the way in yet but they are so cute!! 
• We think you will be getting more teeth soon because you are drooling and chewing on everything! 
• You had your first antibiotic this month. We took you to the doctor for your cough and you had bronchitis. You bounced back very quickly! 
• You are doing really well in daycare. We love your teachers Ms. Tina and Ms. Ally. We were very sad when Ms. Ally left last week. 
• You have learned to wave "hey" and it is so cute. You use your whole arm instead of your hand. 

• You have mastered crawling and are so fast! We can't turn our heads for one second. 
• You are pulling up on everything and can walk holding on to things. It won't be long! 
• You are so smart and observant. You don't miss much and like to know what's going on. 
• You are very independent and we love that about you. We hope that you will always be that way.
• The sound of your laugh is one of the best sounds that we have ever heard. 

•  You love Bella so much and we hear the biggest laughs from you when she is around. 
• You love going for walks and we try to go every day. 
• You wear 9 month and 12 month clothes. Mostly 9 months for shorts/pants and 12 month for tops and pajamas
• You still wear a size 3 diaper and will probably do so for a while. 
• You wear a size 3 shoe

Thank you for bringing so much joy into our lives. Seeing you smile and hearing you laugh is the best part of my day every day. We miss you at night when you are sleeping and we can't wait to get you up in the morning! To say we are "over the moon" in love with you is quite the understatement and our love grows more and more every day. I've said it before and I will say it forever that you are the absolute best thing we have ever done. We thank the Lord every single day for your precious life.
