23 Weeks!

Baby Update: 23 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights from this week:

How far along? 23 weeks

Size of the baby? As big as a large mango, 11 inches and just over 1 pound

Maternity Clothes? Yes! And they are so comfy! I can still wear some of my regular shirts, but all maternity pants. 

Gender? Sweet baby GIRL!!!!!!!

Movement? Yes! I have felt her a lot this week. This morning I was sitting on the couch on my computer and she started moving around. I looked down at my stomach and could actually see it move whenever she would kick/punch me!! It was really neat and I love when I can feel her move. 

Sleep? I am sleeping pretty well right now. I do have to get up at least once during the night to go to the bathroom. My lower back is also starting to hurt :-/

Cravings? Sweets this week. This is really nothing new for me because I have always loved sweets but I have really been wanting them this week! 

Symptoms?  This week I felt good. Thank goodness!  

What I miss?  Don't really miss anything right now. 

Milestones? Making it to 23 weeks :-) 17 weeks to go!!!!!

What I am nervous about? Nothing really.  

What I'm excited about? So much! Another week closer to meeting our girl. I had my 23 week appointment this week and got to hear her heartbeat. Sweetest sound ever! I haven't gained any weight in 4 weeks (which is hard for me to believe!!) but my doctor said that was normal. I am sure it will catch up with me soon. 

I don't have a picture this week because Grant is in San Francisco so he can't take it. So instead of a picture of me, I will leave you with one of our sweet girl. Love her so much!!
