21 Weeks

Baby Update: 21 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights from this week:

How far along? 21 weeks

Size of the baby? As long as a carrot, 10.5 inches and 3/4 pound

Maternity Clothes? Yes! And they are so comfy! I can still wear some of my regular shirts and my workout clothes (not that I am doing much working out!) but all maternity pants. We went last weekend and I got a few new things for spring.

Gender? Sweet baby GIRL!!!!!!!

Movement? Yes! I feel her move around a good bit when I sit still or late at night. The movement that I am feeling is more like twitching and bubbling, but it is definitely her! I had to go to the doctor this week (thought I may have a bladder infection but thankfully I didn't!) and the nurse practitioner was trying to hear her heartbeat and all she could hear was our sweet girl moving all around! She told me that she was very active in there :-) I wonder if this is a sign of things to come??

Sleep? I am sleeping pretty well right now. I do have to get up at least once during the night to go to the bathroom. My lower back is also starting to hurt :-/

Cravings? Pretty much any kind of food. . . I am eating a LOT! I feel like I am getting huge. I need to tone it down some!

Symptoms?  This week I felt good. Thank goodness! Having shortness of breath and have to go to the bathroom ALL.OF.THE.TIME!!!

What I miss?  Don't really miss anything right now. Maybe being able to fit into all of my clothes!

Milestones? Making it half way!!! I can't believe that in less than 19 weeks she will be here! We have also made some really good progress on her nursery! I am so excited about it and it is looking so cute! Grant's mom is here this week and has helped us get a really good start on the nursery! Can't wait to show pictures!

What I am nervous about?  Nothing really at this point. .

What I'm excited about? So much! Another week closer to meeting our girl. Her nursery! I am loving how it is turning out so far.

Here is my 21 week picture. Getting bigger!!
