Our Weekend

Because Olivia hasn't had her two month shots yet, we haven't really taken her anywhere. It has been hard because one of us always has to stay here with her so we never get to go anywhere as a family of three. This weekend we decided to take her to the Farmer's Market downtown Waco. It is outside and we knew that nobody would touch her so we were ok with that. She slept the whole time! After we left, we went over to the Baylor campus to walk around.

The rest of the weekend we spent hanging out at home. The weather was bad Saturday night so we stayed in and snuggled with our girl! Melt my heart! My two loves :-)

One thing is for sure. Olivia does not like to be hungry. She will let you know quickly when she is ready to eat!!

We have started putting her on her play mat some to see if she likes it. Sometimes she will look around at the toys hanging and the flashing lights and other times she couldn't care less about it.

I threw my back out last week (bending over to turn off a night light!!) and it was not fun. Grant had to cancel his meetings and come home because I literally could not lift Olivia. I spent the week trying to recover. Let me tell you. . it is not easy taking care of a newborn when you can't use your back! It started feeling much better by the weekend so I think I overdid it on Saturday. It went out again on Sunday. Please pray that it heals quickly! Happy Monday!
